Over a decade ago in 1996, Impact Drilling and Blasting was founded by Ed Gleason, Adrian Gleason and Kurt Gleason. Their small, humble company offered two generations of experience in drilling and blasting for quarries, mines and other customers. Impact focuses on safety, quality, accuracy and production.  Impact has performed almost every imaginable job relating to blasting and drilling, including public and multi-million dollar projects. We have a total of six drills and four full blasting crews that work at quarries, construction sites and for highway contractors. Quality work and safety is always stressed to all employees on all jobs. To this day, Impact has never had a reportable accident to OSHA nor have a loss day of work due to injuries. Since Adrian Gleason became the owner and President, Impact's available services have grown at an unappreciated rate. From test drilling to blasting to mechanical work, Impact now offers a full array of services for anyone's blasting and drilling needs. Impact expects a prosperous future and will be able to supply all our customers more services at the quality they have been expecting from us for over a decade. Impact has recently purchased a new full mechanics and maintenance shop in Charlestown, Indiana in the summer of 2005. Impact also purchased a new explosive storage site in Frankfort, Kentucky and will make available for leasing to any interested parties.  We hope that you and your company can become a part of our future.
